Change preferences in setup or conversation
Forms and conversation use the same saved coworker preferences.
Open Setup & preferences to review or edit a saved answer. You can also ask the coworker directly, such as “Keep my replies brief and direct.” When the change succeeds, the open setup panel shows the updated value and identifies the change made in conversation.
Undo last saved change restores the previous preference. Moving to another question does not consume Undo. Undo is available only while the current saved version still matches; a newer change must be reviewed first.
The settings belong to this coworker instance. Updating a shared coworker affects its shared preferences. Personal setup remains separate.
A preference describes how work should be done. It does not connect an account, change account permissions, buy a plan, generate an image or create a schedule. Those actions use their own controls and actual account access.
Choose accounts and resources
Open Accounts & resources on the coworker's desk, or complete that section in the setup review. Each selected responsibility explains what it needs. Choose an existing account or website from the available list. For a personal mailbox, Connect Gmail and Connect Microsoft use the normal account connection flow. For another app, Manage connected apps opens the existing connection settings. Return and refresh the list after connecting.
Your personal mailbox selection belongs to you, including when you use a shared coworker. Another teammate can attach their own mailbox without replacing yours. Use personal conversations for personal account work. An owner or admin manages shared resource choices.
If you create a new website, select it here before asking the coworker to build it. Creating another website does not replace the one currently attached to a responsibility.
Detach from this responsibility stops this responsibility from using the resource. It does not delete the website, disconnect the underlying account or change other users' attachments. If access is revoked or a resource requirement changes, the panel explains that the old selection is unavailable. Select a currently available resource before continuing work. A change in another tab may require Refresh available resources before saving again.
Account selection does not buy another plan or grant additional permissions. Existing account permissions and plan limits continue to apply, and access is checked again when work runs.
Some answers also supply inputs for a responsibility, such as a category or a list of topics. Use Yes or No for a choice, and Add an item or Remove item to edit a list. An unfinished or invalid entry does not replace the saved answer. Correct it to resume saving. Clearing a required answer makes setup incomplete until you fill it in again.
New work uses the saved values. Work already executing keeps the preferences it started with. If an approved action or saved plan conflicts with a changed answer, the coworker must prepare it again; editing a preference cannot silently change the approved action.
If a save conflicts with another change, Cuadrila retains the text you are editing and asks you to load the saved version. Review both before replacing an answer.
Review an available setup update
Open Setup & preferences → Check for setup updates. Your current setup keeps working until you choose Apply reviewed setup update. You can also choose Keep my current setup.
The review explains which answers can stay and which questions need a new answer. When a question's meaning or choices change, its old answer stays in setup history and is cleared from the updated form. Added responsibilities remain unselected until you choose them. Complete any newly required answers before finishing setup.
An update may also change how the coworker works or the tools it can use, even if there are no new questions. The review lists these changes before you apply them. New replies and runs use the accepted update. A reply or run already executing keeps its current instructions; a later queued or resumed run uses the version accepted when that run starts.
Updates leave connected accounts, account permissions, subscriptions, schedules and existing work results as they are. Tools still require their normal connected account and funding checks. A workspace owner or admin manages shared coworker updates. You can manage your own personal coworker.
If the update response is interrupted, select Recover setup update. This retrieves the same saved result. Other preference editing pauses until recovery, so an old answer cannot be saved under a changed question. A change in another tab may require you to review the update again.
