Coworkers and results

Edit saved posts, documents and other work products

Use the coworker's output collection to edit the original Workroom result.

Open Outputs in a coworker's desk or shared Crew room chat. Assigned Workrooms can expose collections such as Posts or Documents. The collection's label and fields come from its installed template. Your current access still controls which results you can see.

For a structured work product, choose Edit fields, change its content and choose Save fields. This updates the original Workroom item. Open full work history to see its larger workflow. The desk does not make another copy of the result.

If someone changes the same field while you are editing, your save reports a conflict. Keep your text, reopen the current result and reconcile the changes. Changes to different fields do not overwrite one another. Private or sensitive fields keep their existing visibility rules.

Collections can also contain generated document files. Use the document's existing preview and available actions. The ability to edit structured content does not mean every uploaded PDF, image or document file has an inline editor.

A saved post is a draft until its publishing workflow confirms otherwise. Editing a post does not publish it, schedule it or connect a social account. Similarly, saving a document does not email it. Use the appropriate connected workflow and check its final result and receipt.

An assigned coworker may share a Workroom with other coworkers. Collection membership does not imply that it personally produced every item. Original producer and work context remain attached to the source records.
